Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced FMCG Sales Representative to develop our commercial presence in the North-West region.
The incumbent will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring deep market penetration of our products.
He/She will play a key role in the company's expansion in the region by ensuring rigorous follow-up, active prospecting, and excellent customer relationships.
2. Main Duties and Responsibilities
A. Business Development
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets in the region.
- Develop new markets and increase commercial coverage.
- Identify, prospect, and convert new clients (retailers, wholesalers, convenience stores, distributors, etc.).
- Ensure product visibility, availability, and rotation at points of sale.
B. Customer Management and Loyalty
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure regular follow-up and propose actions to increase loyalty.
- Respond to customer needs, complaints, and suggestions.
C. Market Analysis & Reporting
- Collect key information on market trends, pricing, competitors, and growth areas.
- Submit regular reports to management to guide commercial strategy.
- Analyze sales by area, product, and customer type.
D. Sales Administration
- Conduct regular inventories and complete stock reports at points of sale.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and monitor payments.
- Carry out other ad-hoc tasks related to commercial activity.
3. Required Profile
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales (excluding internships).
- Experience with a major FMCG company in Cameroon is a significant advantage.
- Good knowledge of the local North-West market and distribution channels.
Education
- Minimum of HND degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
