The Vacancy
Humanitarian Academy for Development (HAD) is actively recruiting for the position of Programmes & Grants Assistant, to be based from its office in Birmingham, UK, on a hybrid basis. HAD is an award-winning global hub for capacity strengthening, applied research, and leadership development, serving not only the learning and development of Islamic Relief Worldwide staff, but also individuals and organisations from across the wider humanitarian and development community. Through our capacity strengthening work with local and national NGOs worldwide, HAD’s programmes focus particularly on supporting localisation efforts and contributing towards our mission to strengthen the humanitarian sector.
The purpose of the Programmes & Grants Assistant role is to ensure the effective delivery of HAD’s capacity strengthening programmes through providing efficient administrative and operational support.
