Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and liaise between nutrition team members and local communities to ensure the seamless implementation of activities.
Directly supervise the nutrition team and monitor their work.
Collect weekly reports from nutrition teams for submission to the Project Manager on a weekly, monthly, and as needed basis.
Conduct team meetings and participate in site/service and program assessments.
Develop weekly and monthly plans and regularly update mobile team activities.
Ensure that nutrition activities are tailored to community needs.
Coordinate with local communities and relevant stakeholders to address existing community complaints mechanisms.
Coordinate with local communities to identify existing malnutrition risks and develop response and adaptation plans.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
University degree in Management, Sociology, Medical Science, or equivalent.
Three years of relevant experience in humanitarian work.
Experience in nutrition-related activities and projects is preferred.
At least two years of relevant experience in protection.
At least two years of relevant experience in managing teams. Previous experience in awareness-raising activities related to child protection, gender-based violence, and general protection.
Proficiency in developing awareness plans for PSEA.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Teamwork skills.
Familiarity with and commitment to humanitarian standards.
Good experience in preparing implementation reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
