Project Description
We are seeking a senior consultant to lead the development of a technical, economic, and financial feasibility study for the implementation of two integrated wood processing industries (sawmilling, veneer/lamination, and plywood) based on eucalyptus resources.
The project will be developed in two locations in Angola with no existing industrial infrastructure. The study will therefore require a full definition of the technical, operational, and economic model from the ground up.
The assignment will support internal decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the overall development of the feasibility study
• Evaluate the availability and sustainability of the forest resource
• Conduct fieldwork in the project areas
• Define the industrial concept and key design parameters
• Identify key risks and critical project variables
• Assess logistical, infrastructure, equipment, operational and other constraints
• Assess the technical, economic, and operational viability of the project
• Develop the financial model (including NPV, IRR, and sensitivity analysis)

Required Profile
Experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in delivering full feasibility studies
• Experience in industrial projects (preferably in wood processing, forestry, or related sectors)
• Mandatory experience in Sub-Saharan Africa
• Strong knowledge of Angola highly preferred

Education
• Degree in Engineering (Forestry, Industrial, or equivalent) or other relevant technical background, Economics or Business Administration.

Technical Skills
• Assessment of industrial projects in Angola or Sub-Saharan countries
• Understanding of forestry and/or industrial value chains
• Advanced financial modeling (NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis)
• Evaluation of logistics and operational constraints in developing countries

Languages
• Portuguese: required
• English: required

Additional Requirements
• Availability for field missions in Angola
• Ability to work independently in complex environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
