Technical Assistance for Strengthening  the Capacity of the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Water Administration in Albania for law drafting and enforcement of national environmental legislation.

The objective of this service contract is to provide technical assistance to support the Ministry of Environment in enhancing its capacity to implement and enforce environmental legislation.
It is forecasted that the TA will:
(i) assist the development of technical departments within the Ministry towards fully effective operation;
(ii) strengthen the Environmental Inspectorate towards an effective enforcement and prosecution service in all sectors under the responsibility of the Ministry;
(iii) ensure that the National Environmental Agency functions effectively at both national and regional levels.
