Detailed Narrative Description of the Project
The objective of the Karnataka Health System Development and Reform Project for India is to improve health service delivery, public-private collaboration, and financing, particularly for the benefit of underserved and vulnerable groups in Karnataka. The project aims to increase utilization of essential health services (curative, preventive and public health), particularly in underserved areas and among vulnerable groups, to accelerate achievement of the health-related Millennium Development Goals. IPE Global presented its work on developing Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) in the states of West Bengal and Odisha so that the best practices of the same may be emulated in Karnataka.

Description of Actual Services Provided by your Firm
- Presented the work on Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) in the states of West Bengal and Odisha and also contributed to a better evidence based and improve the way budget planning/implementation and monitoring is conducted in the health care sector.
- Provide technical assistance to the Karnataka Health project authorities in developing and using the Dashboard instrument for better monitoring performance/effectiveness of expenditure.
