Preparation of Main Design for Railway Infrastructure Investment

The project refers to preparation of detail designs for rehabilitation of the rail line Bar-Vrbnica (border with Serbia). The design shall cover civil engineering and electro-technical infrastructure.

Main design for civil engineering refers to – renewing tracks to increase safety and speed, rehabilitation or reconstruction of bridges and tunnels, including sub-grade rehabilitation and hydro-insulation on railway sections Kolašin – Podgorica (approximately 60 km) and Podgorica – Bar (approximately 50 km) as parts of Bar – Vrbnica line.

The electro-technical part of the design shall include infrastructure for the whole rail line Bar – Vrbnica (168 km). This part of the design refers to replacement of signalling devices, remote control system, radio-communication system, stations control system, etc.
