PUNJAB RURAL WATER SUPPLY & SANITATION PROJECT

Consultancy services for providing Technical Support to the Department of Water Supply & Sanitation (DWSS), Punjab; to assist Gram Panchayat Water Supply & Sanitation committee (GPWSC), Scheme Level Committee (SLC) of multi village scheme and DWSS in community mobilization during pre-planning, planning, design, procurement support, implementation & post implementation of scheme for construction/up gradation of drinking water supply schemes based on surface/ ground water source for 1000 NC/PC villages, and construction of sewerage schemes for 100 villages, in the State of Punjab, including:

• Updation of the Environmental Management Framework (EMF).

• Suggestion of innovative technology options/ package treatment plants relevant to Punjab situation for treatment of quality affected ground water and submission of upfront standard design, specification and rate analysis of each item.

• Assistance to GP’s, GPWSC’s and SLC’s for implementation of the project, on quality control; organizing workshops & trainings for successful O&M of scheme. Overseeing O&M for three months after taking over of scheme by GPWSC etc. etc
