Title: Short-Term Expert Support on Sustainable Urban Transport Improvements in Indonesia

Short description: On behalf of the NAMA Facility, GIZ implements the Sustainable Urban Transport Indonesia NAMA support project (SUTRI NAMA).The SUTRI NAMA project contributes to transforming urban transport in Indonesia with a mix of capacity building and investment measures. The overall goal of the project is to contribute to climate change mitigation through sustainable transport policies and infrastructure projects supported by a national urban transport program. The Indonesia Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Development Project (INDOBUS) is a stand-alone technical component of the SUTRI NAMA project. The State Secretariat of Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO) finances the component. INDOBUS’ primary aim is to assist selected Indonesian cities in developing bus rapid transit corridors as a backbone for sustainable urban mobility systems, through a mix of technical and investment assistance.
