Contract description: The purpose of this contract is to enhance institutional capacity of Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and increase stakeholder awareness in the field of fisheries stock assessment and ecosystem monitoring for the gradual alignment of the EU legislation in the areas of fisheries policies. Within the scope of the contract, mainly following services shall be provided by the contractor:
Production of technical documents (gap analysis report of the available data collection system, strategy paper on ecosystem approach, indicative national work plan, protocols and methodology regarding data relay systems etc.),
Development of fisheries data collection and processing software,
Organization of study visits to EU member states,
Implementation of pilot studies (practical applications) in order to test data collection system,
Organization and implementation of trainings on data collection in fisheries, statistics, ecological models, stock assessment etc.,
Conducting awareness raising activities.
