Description

Supervision of construction of the treatment plants and reservoirs, the construction and replacement of transmission and distribution mains, and the rehabilitation of the networks inclusive of DMA infrastructure.

Mentoring GWI staff on supervision of civil works based on the works implemented under this program;

Development of a non-revenue water (NRW) program and water audit and development of a NRW management strategy to be used by the Executing Agency to undertake rehabilitation of the network and manage NRW over the lifetime of the new system;

Development of Standard Operating Procedures for the new systems;

Training of GWI staff on: operation and maintenance of the new system, contract and construction management, environmental and social issues, and water quality monitoring, and other related areas as specified in these TORs.
