Description

The consultant should administer and supervise the execution of the works contract for construction of the border inspection post (BIP) in Stara Gradiška road crossing on behalf of the contracting authority, performing the functions and duties of the 'Engineer' according to the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction (New Red Book) and related Croatian laws, under which the implementation of works contract will be conducted. Supervision service will be done over 1 works contract, covering construction of 2 separate buildings at the
same construction site.
The consultant shall ensure the provision of all necessary services during the pre-construction phase (1 month), the construction phase (9 months), the defects notification period (DNP) (12 months) and the reporting phase (3 months).
The works that have to be supervised are construction of facilities for the veterinary and phytosanitary border inspection post in Stara Gradiška that will be in line with EU standards. 2 separate buildings shall be built on the same plot: 1 for veterinary service and 1 for phytosanitary service. Total square area of the 2 facilities that shall be supervised will be approx 1 800 m together with the connections on respective infrastructure and utilities on site.
The project is located at the existing Stara Gradiška road border crossing, which is situated at the corridor V highway.
