Short description: The 15th CBD Conference of the Parties will take place in October 2020 in China, and will be a unique opportunity for enhancing global commitments for biodiversity. In particular an Action Agenda for Nature and People will be launched. This agenda aims to achieve voluntary action from economic sectors and stakeholders in support of biodiversity. The objective of the contract is to bring together both stakeholders and initiatives from the private sector that will contribute to such actions and commitment in favour of biodiversity. The aim is to create a combined business voice, with a clear and compelling narrative, to support biodiversity mainstreaming in business globally and in the EU. The aim is also that the business sector commits and contributes to the setting up of a strategy to implement commitments in the aftermath of the CBD COP in 2020.
