Procurement of Event Management Service Contract Agreement for the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development: fifty-third session of the Commission

Description: Procurement of event management service for the fifty-first session of the Economic Commission for Africa and the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.

From 18-20 March, the Committee of Experts will hold their session. This will be followed by a number of Side events that are scheduled to take place on 21 and 22 March 2020/ These events, held in parallel, will be limited to 90 minutes each. From 23th to 24th March, the plenary sessions of the Conference of Ministers will commence with a high-level policy dialogue on the theme for 2020, followed by plenary sessions on a series of sub-themes. Contributions from seasoned and high-level panellists from within and outside Africa will guide the discussion, which will be informed by recent findings to be elaborated on in the concept note and technical background materials. The discussions will aim at building consensus on priority areas for action. As part of the conference, the annual Adedeji Lecture will also be held. In addition to the conference, the Regional Coordination Mechanism will also hold its session in parallel to the meeting of experts and side events.
