Description
The overall objectives of the project aimed at improving national animal production and facilitating the export of live animals and products of animal origin as well as facilitating the introduction of an EU-compliant food safety control system allowing a stable to stable concept and full traceability of all animal movements. The activities will be focused on completing the establishment of an integrated animal identification, holding registration and movement control system for small ruminants, in compliance with EU requirements. A concept including preparing technical specifications for the expansion of animal I&R system to porcines will be also prepared and integrated identification and registration and veterinary information system will be pursuing with interfaces and components relevant to the MAFWE IT system including food safety software for both, veterinary and food agency inspectors.
