IMPROVEMENT AND UPGRADING OF THE REGIONAL ROADS NETWORK THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TUNNEL

The project generally concerns the improvement and upgrading of the regional roads network

and directly involves 50 municipalities located in the foothill area near Treviso (Northern Italy).

The intervention concerns the construction of a 1.2 km long tunnel useful both to light and heavy traffic on the Regional Road n. 28 and connecting the cities of Vas (Province of Belluno) and Segusino (Province of Treviso) on the left side of Piave River.
The conception of the project included the implementation of the structural works identified in the Master Plan of the Integrated scheme of Alto Trevigiano Water supply and distribution system, i.e. the construction of the 600 mm main pipes.

SGI carried out the following activities:

• Preliminary and feasibility studies;
• Environmental Impact Assessment;
• Preliminary, Final and Detailed design;
• Tender documents;
• Supervision of construction.
