Description

The Construction Project aims to describe, define, calculate, measure and finally evaluate the construction works and installations required for handling bulk cargo in a plot with an approximate area of 14.350 m2, located in the west wharf of San Juan de Nieva dock, Port of Aviles.

Bulk cargo handled in the projected facilities is of two types: A) Powdery, fine grain, cement and fly ash. B) Granular products made of materials with a maximum size of several millimetres, granulated slag from blast furnace and ash cement.

Referring to handling operations of the different materials, the facilities must allow: maritime and terrestrial reception, unloading and loading both vessels and lorries, storage in warehouses or tower silos when the material to handle is clinker or blast furnace slag.
