Actualization Of Plan National Of Transport

The project consists of a study on "National Plan for Transport (PNT) with three components: national transport information system and review of pricing.
The NTP will need to define the measures and investments to ensure better functioning and effective integrated regional trade, national and international made by different modes of transport for the medium and long term. It will also define the policy of facilitation of transport, urban transport, cabotage national security and safety and environmental management, and investments. Another purpose of the mission is to disseminate technical knowledge available to achieve the NTP with the technical staff of the ministry and Algerian professionals so as to give the best chance for its periodic updating.
Knowledge of costs of transport activity and related activities, and thus the ability of economic agents and the state to negotiate in relation to the rates applicable under the delegations of public services and concessions contribute to achieving these objectives by improving the efficiency of the sector and by releasing public resources for better implementation of the regulatory functions of the Ministry of Transport. Another objective is to develop an assessment tool of tariffs in a regulation of the transport operators or public service delegation.
