Description: Life Safety Armour System composed of three pieces including a carrier, a soft armour and ballistic plates. 

• The carrier and the soft armour, when assembled together without the ballistic plates, must not exceed 8.5lbs
• Must come in a men’s version that comes in sizes Small to XX-Large.
• Must come in women’s sizes version sizes X-Small to XX-Large.
• Outer shell of carrier must be made from a durable, water resistant, stain resistant ultra-light fabric of Cordura Nylon or a Nylon kevlar blend meeting or exceeding MIL-DTL-32439.
• Inner liner must be comfortable against the skin. The inner liner must not be rough, itchy, stick to or pull on the skin, irritate the user in any way or rub in a way that puts the user in discomfort.
• The carrier assembly must have an internal mounting system for a hard ballistic plate in either the form of a pocket or an internal strapping system that keesp the plate secured to the greater carrier assembly.
• The size of the hard ballistic plates should corrspond with the size of the carrier and the mounting system should be allow for plates that match the size of the vest in question.
• Carrier must be side opening.
• Carrier system must have built in air circulation technology.
