External Organisational Review of UNSGAB

Client: UNSGAB.

We undertook an external organisational review of UNSGAB in 2009 which incorporated an assessment of the overall progress, achievement and impact of UNSGAB, since it was established in 2004. 

As part of the process IOD PARC reviewed UNSGAB’s implementation processes and its Secretariat, looking at:

• Board composition,
• Board meeting organisation,
• Working mechanisms,
• Attendance by observers,
• External bodies,
• Funding, Staffing & Hosting

We reviewed UNSGAB position, roles and added value within the UN system and provided recommendations as to the possible future role and activities of the Board and its governance structure.
