Detailed description of project:

The overall objective of the project is to support institutions/organisations in participation in the Community Programmes through the institutional support and capacity building.

The project purpose is to strengthen the operational structure that would facilitate, support and developactivities related to the successful participation in EU RTD programmes as well as in the field of international scientific cooperation in general, through the public promotion of the EU RTD programmes as well as the assistance in project proposal preparation.

The results to be achieved:

• Research, science and technology community of BiH benefits from the activities and opportunities that arise from the membership in the FP7, COST and EUREKA;
• The BiH scientific community is more involved in international scientific cooperation using membership in the FP7, COST and EUREKA.

Type of services provided:

Training for writing and implementation projects for FP 7, COST and EUREKA programmes

• Organise workshops and trainings sessions with presentation of the programmes as well as practical work on preparation of applications and implementation of projects based on the lesson-learned methodology;
• Mentoring and follow-up of the projects preparation;
• Increase partnership with the potential partners in the country, region and wider;
• Creation pool of trainers list, including at least one person at the BiH public faculties, that will be qualified to give support in preparation of project proposals and actions and implementation for FP7, COST and EUREKA programmes to others;
• Preparation of Instructions/Guidelines to potential applicants on the preparation of the project proposals.

Media campaign about possibilities of programmes FP7, COST and EUREKA

• Establish cooperation with institutions responsible for science and subjects which have capacity to take part in programmes FP7, COST and EUREKA;
• Develop and implement the Plan of media campaign and Plan of promoting possibilities of programmes FP7, COST and EUREKA;
• Organising or co-organising conferences, consultancies, internships (workshops), fairs, etc. to promote FP7, COST and EUREKA programme among science and research community and in particular among young researchers, especially women;
• Provide promotion programmes FP7, COST and EUREKA in printed and electronic media in BiH and round table discussions in order to introduce the general public in BiH about the possibilities of FP7, COST and EUREKA programmes;
• Promotion of international cooperation on a project and programme basis (FP 7, COST, EUREKA); etc. in cooperation with NCP network.
