Capacity: 133,000 m3/d.

  • Drinking water treatment plant: The treatment of contaminated Nile water ensures the supply of approx. 800,000 people with clean drinking water. By means of a multi-stage treatment system the waters of the Nile are freed from solids such as sand or mud, as well as from organic impurities, bacteria and parasites.The project was aimed at increasing the capacity of an already existing plant and improving the quality of the drinking water recovered.
