Client: Hüls AG.

Capacity: 48,000 m3/d (2 x 24,000 m3/d).

  • Turnkey order for a cooling make-up water treatment plant at Hüls AG.
  • The key treatment process step is decarbonisation, which is completed using proven sludge blanket technology. Downstream, the treated water flows into a high-performance OPUR-S system. The plant consists of a compact , multi-chamber flocculation step, with chemical dosing pumps for coagulation, flocculation and subsequent sedimentation (lamella clarification).
  • The whole treatment plant comprises two independent lines, including all accessories.
