Capacity: 33,000 p.e.

  • Municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plant using the SBR process. Modernisation and extension of the existing wastewater plant for the treatment of municipal wastewater of the sewage boards of Sisslebach, Schinberg and Mettauertal and of the industrial wastewater of the Ciba chemical industry Kaisten AG.
  • Process steps:
    • Mechanical pre-treatment
    • Biological treatment consisting of 3 SBR-reactors for denitrification, nitrification and simultaneous precipitation
    • Pre-thickening of excess sludge
    • Sludge dewatering by centrifuge
    • Exhaust air cleaning with biofilter.
