Description

The programme is expected to achieve five results:

1) Institutional capacity of Malawian NSAs for the identification, management and financing of their programmes is strengthened

2) Capacity of NSAs to provide efficient and effective service delivery appropriate to the needs of the Malawi population and in particular the poor is strengthened;

3) Malawian NSA influence on development and implementation of Government policies, strategies and programmes increase;

4) Increased and more effective cooperation between Malawian NSAs and Government is achieved;

5) Increasingly effective and strengthened cooperation between Malawian NSAs, Government of Malawi and EU delegation is achieved. The specific objective of this contract is: To facilitate the formulation of a Non State Actor Policy through a multi-stake holder consultative process and to consider the impact of such a policy on the NGO Act and the legal framework in Malawi.
