Upgrading of Four Selected Long-term Veterinary and Phytosanitary Border Inspection Posts - Construction of Border Inspection Posts in Metkovic, Karasovici and Ploce Port

This works contract will include execution of all works necessary for construction of 3 border inspection posts(BIP), foreseen as the premises for phytosanitary and veterinary inspection. All 3 BIP constructions are a part ofborder crossing complexes at 3 distant locations: the road crossings Metković and Karasovići and Ploče port.
The works contract will be divided as follows:
section 1 — construction site BIP Ploče port;
section 2 — construction site BIP Metković; and
Section 3 — construction site BIP Karasovići.
At each of the 3 construction sites, 2 buildings shall be constructed, 1 for veterinary and the other forphytosanitary inspection. The total square metre area of all facilities that shall be constructed on all 3construction sites will be approximately 3 220 m 2. FIDIC conditions of contract for construction (New Red Book)and respective particular conditions are the basis for implementation of this works contract. All works should bedone in accordance with issued building permits and respective design documentation with the aim of obtainingthe use/occupational permit.
All 3 construction sites are alongside the Croatian coast with the maximum distance between the sites equal to131 km.
