Detailed project description:

The Water for Peace Project in Yemen Project aimed at mitigating water-based conflicts that have affected agriculture. It also engaged farming communities (men, women, and youth) to resolve local conflicts over upstream and downstream water allocations.

The project’s objectives were: (Reduction of water-based conflict, gender empowerment, climate change mitigation, livelihoods support and reduction of negative coping strategies.

Detailed description of the assignment (Services/Supplies/Works):

This endline survey assignment assessed the 039-PBF projects' interventions and field activities in Tarim district of Hadhramout (Wadi Thabi) as per the Term of Reference (TORs), utilizing different qualitative and quantitative methods and tools.

The survey fieldwork was implemented in close coordination and full cooperation with FAO-CM and M&E unit in terms of information exchange and feedback in a complementary manner.
