Piatra Neamt (waste) water systems modernization

Client: S.C. APA SERV S.A. Piatra Neamt .

As an EPCM contractor, Tractebel Engineering handled the extension and modernization of the water- and waste water systems in Piatra Neamt.    

This project comprised three different contracts:

Extension and rehabilitation of water supply networks, metering and the water treatment plant in Piatra Neamt.

Rehabilitation and extension of sewerage systems.

Rehabilitation of the waste water treatment plant in Piatra Neamt (6,000 cubic metres per hour, to supply 190,000 people by 2020).

As the EPCM contractor, our main responsibilities were to provide technical assistance services, to handle the contracts’ management and to supervise the works execution for the three contracts, according to the FIDIC conditions of contract (Red Book & Yellow Book).
