Objective:

Since 2015, Luxembourg has been participating in the European Week of Sport. - This year, we are going to organize the fourth edition of the #BeActive Clip Contest in order to sensitize day care centres on the advantages of physical activity. - The main event of the European Week of Sport in 2021 will be the #BeActive Youth Day, held on 26 September 2021 in the centre of Luxembourg City. This event intends to provide a good platform for Luxembourgish sports federations and sports clubs to present their activities. We plan to focus on little-known disciplines and the latest sporting trends. - With our year-round calendar “calendrier du sport-loisir”, we provide a central platform for non-competitive sports events in Luxembourg. This calendar will be a valuable tool for assembling the #BeActive Program. This programme consists of diverse and interesting events taking place in September and has the objective to show to non-active citizens the various possibilities to engage in regular sports activities.
