Details
Description
Programme: Single Market Programme (SMP)-undefined
Topic: SMP-ESS-2021-BR-MNE-MDL-H1-5698
Type of action: SMP European Statistics
Project ID: 101051630
Objective
This project includes two work packages (WP): WP1: European Profiling, reference year 2021. The intention with this project is to further increase our knowledge and understanding of the European Profiling Methodology. 3 large multinational enterprises (MNEs), where Sweden is the country of the Global Decision Centre (GDC) will be profiled, in addition to 25 foreign MNEs active in Sweden (partnering profiling). The MNEs are selected from the prioritised list of MNEs identified in the European Profiling Programme 2021-2023, taking into account their importance at European level and the needs of national statistical users. WP2: New Structural Business Statistics (SBS) breakdowns using national Business Register (BR) and EuroGroups Register (EGR) information on Group Status. The main objective is to build up a long-term capacity in the field of Micro Data Linking, using the national statistical BR and the EGR as the main infrastructures for linking (with their respective identifiers) statistical and administrative data sources. The aim is to better describe the activities undertaken by the enterprises, both domestically- and international owned. This means that the statistics produced from the project will propose new breakdowns, in particular starting from the SBS, then allowing for new insights on the characteristics and performance of enterprises in the European Member States and EFTA countries.
