Objective

Multi-National Enterprise (MNE) Groups stand at the centre of economic globalization. They play a dominant role in global production, which is then reflected statistically in their contribution to total external trade, foreign direct investment or international transfer of knowledge and technology. To face all these challenges and coordinate all the activities . In the end of 2020 Statistics Lithuania created specialized unit called Business statistics harmonization division, but often called as Large Cases Unit. Implementation of National LCU activities is ongoing. This grant is aimed on Implementation of improvements to national LCU. To elaborate new tools for MNE groups data treatment to introduce the systematic approach on the treatment of MNEs data across the whole statistical production chain, implement rules and consistency checks, use of the new data sources, use of profiling data for analysis of MNE, better collaboration and communication with MNEs.
