Project Description:
The project aims to enhance the health status of the Bosnian population through supporting the sustainability of an efficient and approppriate health care system and the related pharmaceutical sector. Consultancy, training and related equipment will be deployed within the scope of the project. It aims to assist health authorities in both entities to increase the management capabilities of health insurance funds, Ministries of Health, especially to upgrade their pharmaceutical policy, and the Bosnian network of health care institutions. It should co-ordinate closely with the related project: Technical Assistance in Public and Environmental Health and it must build on already existing technical assistance programmes.
