Technical Assistance to the Local Government Service in Ghana

The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is to contribute to increased performanceand quality of service delivery, with a particular focus on the effective provision of basic services like education,health, as well as water and sanitation at the local level.
The purposes of this contract are:
— to support the local government service in developing, establishing and operationalising an effective andsustainable organisational and human resource performance management system for local government inGhana,
— to support the local government service in developing, establishing and operationalising an effective andsustainable human resource management system for local government in Ghana,
— enhance effectiveness of human resource management and performance management in the localgovernment service in general.
For this a key expert in the area of human resources management will be engaged.
