Specification
LOT 1: SUPPLY AND DELIVER OF UPVC PIPES IN ACCORDANCE TO DIN 8062 AND WORKING PRESSURE OF 10 BAR WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Unplasticized polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) Pipes:
2. Unplasticized PVC pipes (as per the BoQ) shall be in accordance with DIN 8062 or equivalent international standards, (10 bar).
3. Gaskets shall be one-piece sleeve or wrap-around strip type, supplied by the pipe manufacturer, of sufficient thickness to fill the annular space between the pipe and coupler to provide an effective water tight join
4. The Push-Fit (R/R) socket is formed as an integral part of the pipe.
5. The pipe’s wall thickness of nominal diameter 160 mm is not less than 7.7 mm
6. The pipe’s wall thickness of nominal diameter 200 mm is not less than 9.6 mm
7. Pressure Rating: PN10 (10 bar)
8. Pipes length is 6 meters

• Unplasticised PVC fittings shall be in accordance with, EN 1401 or equivalent International standards
• All joints on uPVC pipes and fittings shall be bell and spigot type sealed with elastomeric gaskets. Thring type gaskets shall be of the type, which allow for expansion and contraction of the piping shall be in accordance with EN 681 or equivalent International standards.
