Description: The consumer climate index aims to observe the economic situation and is based on a survey of individuals chosen at random. So far, the survey has been carried out four times a year, mainly by telephone. The goal is to move to an Internet-based survey, which will run continuously. In the basic mandate, the representative carries out the survey on the consumer climate in 2023 in parallel, both by telephone according to the current procedure and by Internet according to the new procedure. The telephone survey takes place every quarter (approximately 900 to 1000 interviews per quarter). The online survey is carried out continuously (approximately 400 to 500 interviews per week). Option 1 foresees extending the online survey for another four years, until the end of 2027.
