EU Public Diplomacy and Outreach - Indonesia and ASEAN

By strengthening the Public Diplomacy and Outreach profile of the European Union in Indonesia/ASEAN the Union seeks to deepen the political, economic and cultural relationship between the European Union and Indonesia/ASEAN. Specifically this will happen by promoting widespread understanding of the EU as an important partner for Indonesia/ASEAN as well as stimulate local interests in cooperating with the EU, its guiding principles and its values among specifically targeted opinion makers and opinion takers in Indonesia and ASEAN. Furthermore the European Union seeks to encourage, more assertively than done to date, reflection and discussion on the EU's policies, its fundamental values, its external relations agenda and its relations with Indonesia and ASEAN among the target audience. The service provider will be expected to implement a range of specific events and initiatives in close consultation with the EU Delegation in Indonesia and to participate with the EU Delegation and related stakeholders in developing new approaches with a view to give momentum to results-oriented relations and advance delivery of joint actions between the European Union and Indonesia/ASEAN.
