Description

The project aims at improvement of the sewerage coverage in the City of Kampala and protection of Lake Victoria which is the sole source of drinking water for Kampala City and surrounding towns. These aims are to be achieved through the implementation of selected measures including: -

  • Rehabilitation, modification and extensions of sewer networks;
  • Construction of a new combined faecal sludge and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) for the City of Kampala and;
  • Procurement of Materials and Equipment for operation and maintenance.
