Detailed description of the project:

The impact evaluation focuses on four main objectives: (i) to test the effectiveness of improving nutrition through multisectoral approaches; (ii) to provide accountability to partners, donors and beneficiaries; (iii) to demonstrate the contribution of UNICEF's targeted support to MSNP implementation; and (iv) to inform future national scale-up of MSNP.
Main activities carried out:
1. Design an impact evaluation including defining the methodology and developing research tools. 2. Conduct a survey to collect midline data on selected indicators. 3. Conduct a survey to collect endline data on selected indicators. 4. Estimate program impact using midline and endline data, using Nepal's 2014 Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey as a baseline. 5. Develop practical recommendations in collaboration with stakeholders, based on the findings and lessons learned. learned to facilitate and inform additional expansion plans.
