Details
Description
Detailed description of the project:
Strengthen the monitoring and evaluation system of the Foundation for Reconciliation and was structured in two lines of work: (1) capacity building in monitoring and evaluation, and (2) the design of the impact evaluation of the ES.PE.RE within the framework of the Reconciliation Centers. The first line was aimed at transferring and applying monitoring and evaluation concepts and tools to a group of between 16 and 20 Foundation professionals, made up of members of the management team, unit directors, project coordinators and advisors. As a final product of these trainings, the trainees designed an evaluation for the projects they execute, which will serve as an input for the Foundation to structure its evaluation system. The process of designing the impact evaluation, corresponding to the second line of work, was fed by the phase of capacity building in monitoring and evaluation with the Foundation's staff, working groups with the management and coordinator level of the programs related to the ES.PE.RE, and the review of literature on impact evaluations of similar initiatives.
