 The general objective of the action is to deepen the political, economic and cultural relationships of the EU with India and SAARC on account of the Union’s strategic interest in promoting those relationships and for making the EU more relevant as a global actor in all areas covered by the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) strategy with Asia and other relevant key EU strategies that have also an external action dimension.
