Objective: 

Gigglebug’s (GB) development slate 2022 consists of four high-quality animated projects that aim to have a positive impact on the lives of kids &
families across the world. Prior to this application, the projects have been through their 1st development phases in order to gather initial market
interest & partnerships. Encouraged by the traction & informed by the feedback, the next stage of development for each project, and the subject of
the funding application, is to produce comprehensive content development materials of the highest quality in order to secure financing & broadcast
placement in a competitive global landscape. In other words, to secure green-light for production. Editorially, each project is driven by a European
creator and they all have core themes that will resonate universally. These themes include creativity, growing-up, family, trust, friendship, inclusion,
and a look at how technology shapes our lives. A common theme that is highlighted across the slate is an awareness for climate, whether explicitly,
or as a backdrop to the world of our fictional characters. One of the projects in groundbreaking and innovative, as it is natively designed as vertical
storytelling. Two projects use serialized storytelling to build towards a compelling viewing experience on streaming services. Considering market
needs, each project has been analyzed against competition so that they have maximum chances for success. The target demographics for the
projects are: 4-7, 5-8 & family. Linear storytelling is the backbone of each project, but that is supported by micro-content on digital platforms. GB will
co-operate with global partners to maximize distribution & commercial reach. The overall objective of all Gigglebug projects is to spread joy through
relatable & contemporary content. We do not know what the future will hold but if we can cultivate aspirational emotions and moments of laughter
to the kids, we are having a positive impact on shaping the future!
