Description

Name of Client: Save the Children/USA.

Name of Senior Staff (Project Director/Coordinator, Team Leader) involved and functions performed: Andualem Taye Led the multidisciplinary team of experts drawn from Save the Children/USA and counterpart government offices. Prepare instruments for data collection and analysis, train the team in the various data collection and analysis instruments, collect qualitative data using focus group discussion, key informants’ interview, mapping, and ranking exercises. Analyze the data using livelihood framework approach.

Evaluate the drought recovery program for drought affected population in eight Woredas in Gode and Afdhare zones financed by USAID as well as draw lesson for future program and project implementation. The program had water, human health, nutrition and livestock health component.
