Rehabilitation and Expansion of Airport Termez for ISAF Uses

Infrastructure development for the ISAF uses of the Airport by the German Airforce, being supply base for ISAF personnel in Kabul. Emergency rehabilitation of the runway during non-air traffic hours any time of the day without interruption of air traffic, construction of apron areas and of apron for aircraft maintenance hangar, service roads.

    •        Representing the Client in all project related infrastructure components.
    •        Review of construction planning.
    •        Liaison and coordination of the infrastructure development with the National Aviation Company (NAC) as owner of the airport.
    •        Representing the Client in contract negotiations and conclusion with the State Road Concern Uzavtoyul.
    •        Coordination of rehabilitation/construction activities with NAC for civil flights and ISAF.
    •        Supervision of rehabilitation and construction works.
    •        Monitoring of the project progress and reporting.
    •        Acting in the interest of the Client in all project related aspects.
    •        Quality assurance.
    •        Inspection of works for acceptance.
    •        Remedial actions to remedy defects.
    •        Acceptance and certification of works.
    •        Monitoring of condition and performance of the runway under increased load and frequency of flights.
