Economic Prosperity Initiative (EPI), ongoing

The program was designed to produce major improvements in enterprise, industry and competitiveness in Georgia between 2011 and 2014.  The team intended to achieve this impact by identifying and targeting key factors known to enhance the growth rates and productivity of Georgian enterprises. Activities were spread between the following four sectors: agriculture, non-agriculture (manufacture and service industries), business enabling environment and cross-cutting (workforce development, ICT, organizational development etc.).  FLAG’s role under EPI was to provide short term assistance in the area of access to finance and building the capacity of non-agricultural SMEs, as well as financial services/products development.
