II.1.4) Short description:
The framework contract is mainly intended to support the European Commission Directorates-General in charge of the implementation of External Action: DG INTPA, DG NEAR, FPI and EU Delegations. The objective of this framework contract is to provide a contractual tool that can mobilise rapidly (compared to a standard tender procedure) through specific contracts the expertise required to assist the European Commission departments in implementing their policies. The expertise required may cover any sector within a lot in any geographic area of the world.

II.2.7) Duration of the contract, framework agreement or dynamic purchasing system

This contract is subject to renewal: yes
Description of renewals: The initial duration of the FWC is 24 months from the date notified by the contracting authority with at least 7days notice (no sooner than the date of entry into force/no later than 16 months after the signature).
The FWC is renewed automatically 1 time for maximum 10 months, unless one of the parties receives formal notification to the contrary 3 months before the end of the ongoing duration.
