The assessmentb mission has two basic goals:

-to investigate and develop suitable solid waste management and waste-to-energy porjects in Turkey for USTDA

-to provide USTDA recommendations on further activities that USTDA might support that would assist Turkey in modernizing its waste management capabilities.

The DM contractor will work with ISTAC , as well as other potential Turkish project sponsors and US companies with interest in the sector , in order to identify and evaluate potential project and export opportunities.
