Section 2.1. Procedure:
Title: PřF/UPOL – Laser for the generation of optical nonlinear potentials at 532 nm
Description: Supply of one piece of continuous laser for the generation of optical nonlinear potentials at 532 nm. A laser at 532 nm with high optical power and frequency stability in the order of GHz units is an essential part of the planned scheme for the realization of dynamically modulated nonlinear optical potentials for ions trapped in a Paul trap. The laser wavelength and power were chosen with regard to minimizing the probability of non-resonant excitation of calcium transitions and achieving sufficient depths of strongly localized optical potentials for energetically close electron transitions.
