Objective:
"We plan to organize two main national EWoS events in Slovakia, one in the capital city Bratislava and the other one will be placed in three different locations, strategically spread throughout the country, in the eastern part of Slovakia, the middle part of Slovakia and, in the western part of the country. To keep the tradition of the past years, we will organize #BeActive Night in Bratislava, on September 28th 2024 and then September 27th 2025. This national event has proven to be extremely successful, with many people attending in the past years. It gained big popularity and we have lots of returning participants as well as lots of new ones each year. The other event, which will premier in the year 2024 was named #BeActive Games & Chat. It will take place in three different locations, on three different days and will be organized in the spirit of the Olympic games values and with the focus on the kids and the youth. With the focus on youth and kids, the events will be organized in the cooperation with local schools, as the importance of sport, physical activity and movement in general needs to be taught from the early age and the habit to exercise need to be created early on. The main objective of all events will be to promote exercise, sport and healthy lifestyle to the general public at all levels of our society. The events aim to encourage people to participate in sport and physical activity more actively. The main events will be organised using the sport-village-set-up in cooperation with the local municipalities. We will invite the relevant local partners in all places along with national partners to take part in the events. Our aim is to create a platform for them to present their respective sports. This may bring diversity in terms of the sports activities to be promoted. Since the year 2024 is the year of Olympic games, the activities will be chosen with the aim to promote the Olympic sport disciplines as well as the Olympic values."
