Description: plot inventory and stand examination data. It involves locating and establishing plots; measuring and recording trees; and measuring and recording vegetation composition. The stand examination data provides information to help guide land managers’ decisions.
The scope of this Comon Stand Exam is to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to conduct reliable timber stand examinations. Work shall consist of locating, establishing, measuring, and recording data for sample plots in accordance with the current version of the Common Stand Exam Field Guide for Region 8. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials (including flagging), services, and facilities necessary for the stand examination project and performance of the tasks.
