Objective:
The project will last 18 months and is led by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service. Its main goal is to significantly improve readiness to respond to climate challenges such as floods and wildfires. The project involves the procurement and installation of high-capacity motor pumps that meet EU standards, replacing outdated equipment, and the development and implementation of training programs for personnel on the use of new equipment and modern response methods. Community engagement programs will also be conducted to enhance public awareness and preparedness for emergencies. Expected outcomes include increased emergency readiness, enhanced cooperation with European civil protection partners, and improved public safety.
